Most likely your sdk.js in tomcat/webapps/botlibre/scripts/sdk.js is not pointing at the correct URL, you need to update it to your domain name, IP, or localhost.

I managed to install BOTLIBRE on a debian distribution, the interface is functional and I can create a bot according to the template, however when I try to chat nothing reacts and I have no trace either debug, could you help me?

The crash seems to be OS related. So my suggestion is to try another computer/VM or OS to determine if the issue is specific to your machine.

You know that docker containerization is actually a Linux feature right? So you advice me to use Windows or a Mac to use Docker desktop to in turn emulate Linux containerization, instead of using Linux directly.

Can you explain in detail how this would help?

I would recommend trying it on another computer, maybe a Windows or Mac.

It always occurs immediately when I start the container using docker-compose start.

What error is occurring when it crashes? Check the Tomcat or docker log. Ensure you have enough memory.

You should be able to connect to the web docker using a web browser.

Following the instructions at docker hub, I build the container on my local desktop. However, when I run the container, the botlibre-app-db-1 runs fine, while the botlibre-app-web-1 keeps crashing. Which of the two do I need to talk to botlibre with http requests (using curl or postman)?

Yes. That is also the assumed copyright if you do not put anything.

The copyright allows you to declare the bot under an open source or creative commons license, or you can keep it copyright under your business or name.

when it asks for license, can I put copyright for myself without doing anything??

Yes, you can add multiple responses to the same question. The bot will choose one at random.
Also you can use the random() function in a template to construct randomized responses.

Hello, I'm intending to run my bot on a set script of responses but would like to (if possible) enable it to give "1 of n" responses, varying how users (once finished) would interact with it and make it a unique experience. Is this possible?

I've tried this before on another site that uses the same bot structure and it would always default to one response of the variable group, offering no unique experience. I'm trying again

First it is important to choose the correct template when creating your bot. If you choose a template that has a lot of responses that you don't want, like one of the personality templates, you may have to delete a lot of responses. So maybe start with a simple template, like the service_template.

For training the bot, you can set its responses from its Training & Chatlogs page.

Hello, Today I have created a  bot called Test Bot (Which, needless to say, is a test). I don't know how to keep it from saying certain phrases. Sometimes it says small things that annoy me like, "What time is it there?" or something along that line. May I kindly ask for instruction? Thank you.

This depends on which bot template you used to create your bot, how you have configured it, how you are training it, and your goals.

Normally a bot would be created for a specific purpose, such as customer service, education, health, etc., and then trained with specific responses and conversation flows relevant to that topic. The bot would normally be trained through the bot's Training & Chat Logs page. You can also correct a bot's response while chatting with it.

please explain more about my bot. am I teaching her.? Is she learning.? is she only for conversation as of to give me someone to talk to or does she really get to know me and keep those thoughts of what is being said to her in her memory. like

Why I ask it.

Because Help Bot of this platform can be asked in any language, not only English and  provide response also with the same language in which was asked. I do not think that Help bot was trained in 130 languages. Probably exist si=ome method to add translation is not it ?

I tested several other bots in groups and had no issues.
Make sure you followed all of the above steps.

I did all that and still does not respond to messages in groups, it will not be a problem with Botlibre.com.

because with another app it worked in groups but the advertising was intrusive.

Did you enable groups for the bot?

I checked your bot and was able to message it in Telegram.
I did notice that some responses were triggering errors, checking your bot I noticed that you had set an invalid "command" in your default response.
